Icetown
First of all. Hey ya'll, I know it's been a while. Long story short, I've been busy resting, studying and getting to know this person called myself all over again. It's been a fucking rollercoaster, but gosh I'm so happy I finally realized it was time to take care of me.
Okey, back to reality, or rather to a Wednesday about three weeks ago. After getting up ridiculously early, as one always seems to do when going abroad, we arrived in a stormy, rainy and gray Iceland. Yaaay!
After about five minutes of driving, I knew we were in it for a treat.
Before heading downtown we stopped by the apartment to layer up with fleece jackets (yes plural) underneath our raincoats. Best decision of the week.
According to our watches, it was nowhere near lunchtime, but we were already starving and freezing so we popped into a random café to grab some food.
After fed and full, we fought the heavy wind and reached the concert hall.
My outfit. Important to match etc.
Best vacation in forever.
My little big brother. Guess anyone following my Instagram is just a tired as me of that jacket.
After a couple of hours, we were pretty done with Reykjavik. So we walked back home and took a warm shower in the water that smelled like boiled eggs, which probably is the only thing I don't miss about this trip tbh.
